1月10日下午，由经济学院能源经济系主办的能源经济研讨会（energy economics seminar）第八十三期会议在经济学院明德主楼734会议室举行。来自英国剑桥大学的michael g. pollitt教授进行了题为“restructuring the chinese electricity supply sector: lessons from international experience”的学术报告。
在本次演讲中，pollitt教授主要为与会者介绍了国际上各国电力体制改革的一般特点以及中国电力体制改革的基本情况，从市场重组和所有制变动、支持性的二级市场安排、适当的经济管制、有效促进低排放技术以及适当的转变机制等五个方面共14点，结合学术理论及国际经验，评估了目前中国的电力体制改革。并在最后给出了一些中国电力体制改革的建议。
本期研讨会由经济学院宋枫老师主持，经济学院多位老师及同学参加了此次研讨会，并针对报告内容进行了深入的交流。
能源经济研讨会由中国人民大学经济学院能源经济系定期推出，旨在为研究能源经济问题的学者提供一个交流的平台，以促进我国能源经济教学研究水平的提高。
主讲人简介： professor pollitt is co-editor of economics of energy and environmental policy and a member of the editorial boards of the review of industrial organization competition and regulation in network industries and utilities policy. he is also a research associate of the centre for business research (cbr) and a member of the faculty of economics. he is currently a member of the office of rail and road`s expert advisory panel and a member of ofwat`s water 2020 advisory board. since 2000 he has been convenor of the association of christian economists, uk.
pollitt教授是《能源经济和环境政策》的合作编辑、《产业组织竞争与规制网络产业回顾》编辑委员会成员。他也是商业研究中心（cbr）的研究合作者、经济学学院（the faculty of economics）的成员之一。现在，他是铁路和公路专家咨询小组办公室的成员、英国水务监管部门2020建议委员会成员。从2000年开始他是英国基督教经济学家协会召集人。
