1、申请账号者的条件： 申请人须拥有以ruc.edu.cn为域名的个人电子邮箱。

2、登录http://wrds-web.wharton.upenn.edu/wrds/，在register中填写并提交注册信息。填写注意事项：
（1）机构名（institution）中选择“renmin university of china”
（2）账户类型（account type）主要有：

1. faculty 教师（注：无特定使用期限）
2. staff(it/librarian) it人员或图书馆员（注：无特定使用期限）
3. ph.d博士生（注：在读期间使用，毕业离校时终止）
4. masters student 硕士生（注：在读期间使用，毕业离校时终止）
5. research assistant(supervised students only) 研究助理（注：在校期间使用，离职时终止）

（3）用英文填写本人的名（first name）和姓（last name）；
（4）个人email地址的填写：申请人请填写以ruc.edu.cn为域名的个人电子邮箱。
（5）department (optional)：页面上注明为选填，但为了识别我校用户身份，请大家务必用英文填写本人所在学院及一卡通号码，否则无法通过审核。填写格式如：school ofeconomics，2012******。
3、管理员审核通过后，申请人将会在个人邮箱中收到系统回复的邮件（包含账号密码设置链接）。设置密码后，即可登录wrds平台。
